Shaikh Khalid Abdullah Al-Madani is an Islamic scholar, educator, and Hajj and Umrah professional. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of FlyRihlah Aviation, where he works to combine professional pilgrimage services with reliable religious guidance for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
He graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Dawah and Usuluddeen. He also completed a Diploma in Arabic Language from the same university in 2012.
His academic journey began at the Islamic University, Kushtia, where he was admitted to the Department of Al-Qur’an and Islamic Studies in the 2010–2011 academic session. In 2012, he received a scholarship to continue his studies at the Islamic University of Madinah.
During his years in Madinah, Shaikh Khalid studied various Islamic disciplines and had the opportunity to study the classical work Zad al-Ma’ad under the guidance of Shaikh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais.
From 2014 to 2016, he served at the Bangladesh Hajj Mission in Madinah, gaining practical experience in pilgrim support and Hajj-related affairs. Since 2021, he has remained professionally engaged in the Hajj, Umrah, and air travel sector, working directly with pilgrims and their travel arrangements.
Alongside his work at FlyRihlah Aviation, Shaikh Khalid has served since 2019 as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Al-Fiqh and Al-Aqidah at As-Sunnah Trust, founded by the late Khondokar Abdullah Jahangir (rahimahullah). He also serves as the Khatib of Siddiquia Jame Masjid near IT Park in Jashore and Baitun Noor Jame Majid Complex.
He is the author of Are the Ash’aris Ahl as-Sunnah? and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Shaikh Khalid’s experience at the Bangladesh Hajj Mission in Madinah played an important role in shaping his vision for FlyRihlah Aviation.
During his years of service, he encountered pilgrims who had invested significant portions of their savings in Hajj and Umrah but faced challenges arising from inadequate religious guidance, poor service, and, in some cases, unethical practices within the industry. These experiences strengthened his conviction that pilgrims need not only reliable travel arrangements, but also trustworthy guidance and responsible support throughout their journey.
This conviction became one of the foundations of FlyRihlah Aviation: to provide pilgrims with dependable Hajj and Umrah services while helping them understand and perform their worship according to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.
Through FlyRihlah Aviation, Shaikh Khalid remains personally involved in religious guidance and pre-departure training. Pilgrims are also supported by a team of experienced Islamic scholars who remain available to address religious questions and concerns throughout their journey.
